NOTES FOR FEBRUARY:
GREENWOOD VILLAGE
All Police comm is on the Arapahoe County 800 MHz system however public
works opearations are still on 453.650.
AURORA
On Monday February 6th all of the old PD/FD repeaters were taken off
the air and retired. So far there's been no word any applications for
those frequencies by other agencies.
LAKEWOOD 800
Still nothing on which system they are in favor of at this time though
it is definate they will be operating on 800 MHz in the future.
STATE 800
The G.E. EDACS 800 System listed under the State of Colorado section is
very active with comm involving an Ambo-cab type operation which one it
is we are still working to identify. The system is operating in
"fail-soft" or the "old mode" which all comm originates on one frequency
in the trunking pattern until a second group begins using the system and
is routed to the next repeater in the sequence. Unfortunately the "G.E.
Jingle" is turned on.
